MEMBERSHIP

1. Any person of Jafri Muslim faith committed to the program and policies of the Foundation may apply for membership of the Foundation.

2. A person having applied for membership on the prescribed form (given hereunder) duly introduced by an existing member in good standing of the Foundation may be admitted by the Board of Directors or denied the membership of the Foundation without assigning any reason by a majority vote in a secret ballot.

3. A register will be maintained of the members of the Foundation with their postal and email addresses, telephone and fax numbers.

4. A person of non-Jafri Muslim faith may, at the discretion of the Board be permitted to become a non-voting member on lump sum payment of a fee prescribed by the Board.

5. The Members in their Annual general Meeting fix the annual membership fee. For the present it is $100.00 per year and it falls due on the first of January each year.

    

BENEFITS TO ACCRUE FROM MEMBERSHIP.

1. As members of MFI in good standing you will be able to fully participate in the management of the affairs of MFI.

2. You will be able to elect six members of the Executive Committee every three years. Executive Committee manages day-to-day affairs of MFI.

3. You will be able to place your children in the Jafaria School (Sunday School) of MFI on payment of prescribed school fee fixed by the Board from time to time.

4. You will be able to use MFI’s library facilities.

5. Attend all the functions/programs of MFI  which will be communicated by email.
